1 Dale kicked off his 2020 racing season this past week at the 44th annual Winternationals at the East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, Florida. He and his #22 team competed in all 5 nights of the week long mini-series for UMP Modifieds and although the team fought some ups and downs, the week was an overall success.

After a Monday night test session, Tuesday saw Dale set fast time in his group, then run third in his heat race before coming home 16th in the night's feature event.

Thursday, he timed in fourth in his group, ran third in his heat for the third night in a row and, after an early race spin, rallied from the tail to a 19th place finish.

Friday night, he timed in third in his group, ran fourth in his heat and got caught up in a hard crash in the feature, ending his night early with substantial damage.

Saturday, he continued his streak of thirds, placing third in his qualifying heat, earning the 17th starting spot in the 75-lap feature. In the feature, he stayed out of trouble over the first 35 laps until the mandatory fuel stop. At that stop, he went into the pits and made adjustments, which forced him to start at the tail on the restart. From there, he charged forward and came home with a top ten finish, crossing the finish line in tenth.
